I bought this pouch to attach to a bag that had no water bottle space. It attaches easily to the outside with the loops. Fits my main water bottle, an 18oz Yeti, and can easily fit the standard Nalgene as well. The draw string holds it in place well so there's no worries about it falling out of the pouch when I'm on the go.The straps to hang from a tactical are wide. Buttons secure the holder well - we’ ll update if they don’t last… seems well made. This is a decent product to add bottle capability to any bag or backpack, but for the tacti-cool folks out there who expect something branded as “MOLLE” to function properly: this one won’t.The back of the bottle holder (left side of first pic) has either a) a PALS strap that is not long enough to allow for proper threading through the webbing, or b) the webbing on the bottle holder needs to be adjusted during manufacturing to offset them properly. The proper threading technique can be seen on my plate carrier in the second pic (note the strap alternates between the webbing, making for a very secure connection). As you can tell, the webbing on the bottle and backpack in the first pic aren’t offset correctly, so this holder isn’t mounted properly.FWIW, if you were to attempt to thread the strap through the webbing the right way, the last strap on the receiving bag covers the bottom snaps of the bottle holder… in order to actually secure the stamps to the snaps, you’d have to undo 1 iteration of webbing and have the bottom 3 inches of the bottle holder unsecured.I used it for my water bottle, but I felt that it was very "clunky" to have an a belt.I enjoy my beverage holder. I work for the police department and to have it in my work belt is a game changer! I can use just about any size water bottle or drinking container. Perfect and I am so glad I got it. The summer months in Texas are brutal and to put ice in my container and add my water throughout the day helps a lot!I use it for an additional ammo pouch when training.Does what it's supposed to.Use it everyday on my work bag. So far so good.I got this to attach to my old Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW camera bag, which I love, but I don't want to take up internal space with a water bottle. It attached perfectly to the attachment loop on the side. Not particularly important, but the fabric and look match pretty much perfectly. The pouch has two strong straps with metal snap-button closers. There's also some webbing loops under the straps, which I used to thread the straps though after I attached it to by bag, thus tightening them up, and meaning that the pouch and bottle don't swing around so much. The pouch is bigger than I expected, which isn't a bad thing. It'll easily fit a 500ml water bottle, probably a 750ml one. The drawstring pulls tight, so even smaller bottles will be securely held. Construction of the pouch is robust. The base of it is a mesh that would allow spillages to drain out.Very happy that this has added functionality to my camera bag.I found this water bottle pouch adequate for what I wanted it for, to fit on the back of my Unigear Tactical hydration pack (also purchased from Amazon) it quite easily takes my Zefal 550ml bottle, which then in turn along with the 3 litre bladder inside the pack, gives me plenty of fluids for the long Summer bike rides ahead, the other point that I want to make is that I have replaced the tie cord at the top with a piece of elastic, therefore making when tightened my water bottle more secure, I also find that the bottle doesn't move either.Good size will take a very thick bottle. But if the bottle is too long, it may struggle to be grabbed fully by the draw cord. The material and stitching seem good enough. Used it on my 5.11 tactical rucksack, and looks fine. Would sooner velcro molle straps to secure it. The two stud straps seems pretty good. But if they were really yanked on they will release. Though most of these bottle molles seem to use the same system. But over all seems good enough to keep, should suit my needs. It’s a cracking little pouch if you want to attach it to your belt or any horizontal strap.I wanted to connect it to my rucksack strap and the molle isn’t set up for that so I had to do a bit of bodging to get it to work. Other than that, it’s great - does what I need it to and fits in a regular sized sports bottle easilySolid bit of kit, have used it on both my bikes and my DD Bergen, its taken a couple of knocks already but is holding up.
