Description
Product Description It's no water bottle, it's an Anti-Bottle. What does it mean to be an Anti-Bottle? It means reusable, foldable, attachable, freezable, sustainable convenience, all in one easy to grip, streamline bottle. It's a flexible product made specifically with active lifestyles in mind. The Anti-Bottle defies all the laws of what a water bottle "should be". Unlike traditional rigid bottles, it lays flat when empty, and has the ability to be folded and stored where other bottles cannot. It's also BPA free, and super easy to wash. There is no water bottle like it. Let's just say we're rule breakers, but in the best kind of way. From the Manufacturer Vapur Shades are reusable, foldable, attachable, freezable, sustainable convenience all in one easy to grip, streamline bottle that is proudly MADE IN THE USA. Called the Anti-Bottle, Vapur makes a flexible product specifically with active lifestyles in mind. Vapur bottles are 87% lighter than traditional rigid bottles and therefore are virtually water weight. It’s slim, sleek design is easy to grip in your hands and slip into your backpack. It also has the ability to be flattened and folded when empty, making it painless to pack all while taking up next to no space.

I like the latch and how packable this was. It stands up on it own also. I cleaned this out before using, but I noticed if I left water in it and drank the next day it would have a subtle chemical aftertaste. I went back to using metal bc I couldn't tell if it was leeching all the time and I just couldn't taste itI’m basing my review on a 2 weeks of off-roading and light hiking abroad using the bottle.Overall I’d say this is a great bottle. Packs well, and easy to use when needed. Perfect for flights because you fold it in your bag, and after you pass the security checks you can unfold, fill with water and enjoy. Some reviews mentioned the color or outside coating wearing off, mine was heavily used, holds perfectly well. There a few really small issues I have with it.1. As mentioned in other reviews, if you like your drink cold, forget about it. The contents temperature becomes room temperature in about 10-15 min, regardless if you have it inside the bag, or outside in the sun.2. I got the 750ml version, and I think it might be a bit small, since the spout feels somewhat large, so you go through the content really quickly. If you have the room in your bag, get the 1L version.3. Takes a long while to dry after cleaning. These issues don’t really bother me, and I find myself using this on a day to day basis, so I’d say I’m happy with my purchase.I read reviews, and I was worried. I got it and instantly tested both. They didn't leak at all. They do seem easily breakable at the seams, but I'm unsure if that's true. What I can say for others on the edge of buying is to NOT grab the sides or just try and tighten the lid without holding the bottle part because that may instigate these leaks that everyone says. You NEED to hold the DEAD CENTER of the ring (where the water goes through) and hold it tight while screwing the lid on. This relieves any pressure from the edges or seams. Also, there's no need to overtighten this thing. You will not get it 90 degrees where the loop perfectly lines up with the rolled up water bottle part. Just roll the bottle up on whatever side the plastic hook loop is on. Make sure to roll it up nice and tight in more of a circle. Don't focus on the little fold at the base and don't use that to gauge your roll up size, that's how it won't fit in the hook loop for storage. Try to bend the base into a little curve, then start rolling into small rolls. This will allow you to easily fit the rolled bottle into the hook loop to store when empty. This is what no one will tell you nor the manufacture writes, but it will save you time reading this. Other than that, it's great for travel. I used it all around Europe and airports. I used it hiking at home, and even at Disneyland. I recommend dishwashing it and NOT storing it closed because you can never get the water fully out. Even days later, there's still some, so let it air dry always to prevent mold. Very cool for $10. Good luckI was a little nervous because of all the reviews about the bottles leaking but we ordered 4 and I did not have issues with any of them. We took them on a 10 day vacation to Europe and it was well worth the money. We used them in the city and when hiking. They saved us a lot of money in the long run.Order yours at least a week before you leave so that if they do leak you can send it back and order more.We did not have any issues at all. They still work well.I was so fed up with the cheap china versions that all leaked that I got this. The color is slightly different from the picture but I am ok with that. I just so happy to have a cap that really does not leak.Okay water bottle, soft sides allow for easy carry, but carabiner is made of plastic, not substantial and prone to breaking and the clasp is not secure, the weakest part of the water bottle.Vapur are amazingly tough water bottles. I lost my rock sack first day in the BWCA and used a Vapur water bottle for the rest of the week. P.S. I don’t have a good arm, and it took multiple throws for each bear sack hanging.Just beware, I ordered a Liter White Vapur from Amazon and got a .7 Liter.its nice I wish it held more water and that the clip was more durable its fine for a back pack clip short distance but I wouldn't hook it to a bike or use it for runningI bought this for Glastonbury festival and am so happy with it!I wanted a lightweight soft bottle that would take up hardly any space in my small bag that I would be able to fill from the water stations when needed. This surpassed my expectations.Easy to fill.Secure closure.Easy to drink out of.No plastic taste.Very lightweight and space saving when empty.I even managed to carry it full in my bumbag as it is flexible and can be squished into the space.I got the 500ml as I wanted a small bottle but found that to be a decent size for a festival -fill up and have a good drink, then immediately refill and stash in the bumbag for drinking whilst dancing.Totally worth the purchase and this will be making it into my hiking kit as an extra bottle as well. This is a really handy bottle, easy to fill, very light, and like the way it collapses as you drink the contents, so very practical to carry in a rucksack or a pocket. It really only has one irritation in my opinion, but its minor, and thats that after you've rinsed it out, it absolutely will not dry out inside! I tried it on the draining board, the window sill in the sun, right way up, wrong way up - there was still a mist of moisture droplets inside. Storing it with moisture in for a week or two between uses (in my case) isn't a good idea I would have thought. The simple way I addressed this was to rinse it out and then just pop it in the freezer. It's flat, so takes no room, the moisture freezes so no bacteria problem, and then to use it I just take it out for 5 minutes, rinse and refill.I'm not sure about 'dishwasher safe'.. keeping it in position sounds like it could be difficult as its so light, very little water would get up the spout and it wouldn't dry inside! All it needs is a good rinse out.It leaked. It was great for the first month or so - a lightweight bottle that could easily slip into my work bag (which you have to do, because the clip is too weak to hold it on the outside of something when it's full) and folded up small when it wasn't in use.But last week is started leaking, quite dramatically, through the cap whenever it was under any pressure at all, and this morning I dropped it and the seal around the cap broke entirely. This might have been an isolated product failure, but given the primary job of a water bottle is to allow you to carry water securely, it's a pretty poor failure.I'm a travel photographer and spend a lot of my time walking around cities where I leave the hotel first thing in the morning and don't return until late at night. I now have 2 of these bottles which I always carry with me, and they are fantastic.First up, travelling. I generally travel with one rucksack full of camera gear and enough clothes for a few days. I take my bag in the cabin, and so space is of a premium. These bottles roll up really well and can easily fit into a pocket on the bag, or even into my pocket if needed. At my destination I simply unroll them in the hotel and fill with water before putting them in the side pocket of my bag ready for the day ahead. They come with a carabiner attached which aids in keeping them compressed when rolled up, and also attached to my bag to stop them from going missing.By using the bottles 5 times I have easily recovered the cost if compared to the bottles of water that I would have bought on my trips, and also reduced waste. These carry just under one and a half of the 500ml bottles that I would normally buy. During the day I've never had an issue with refilling the bottles from a coffee shop or restaurant. One of my initial concerns when looking at purchasing this product was in the quality, and whether or not the material would split after rolling it up so many times and carrying it with me. Water and camera gear do not mix well, after all. I have had no issues at all, and can't see any stress signs in the bottles at all.Using the bottle throughout the day is also fine. I can manage to use it one handed, so opening the cap taking a drink and replacing the cap are all quite straightforward. I tend to find myself doing a combination of both lifted the bottle upwards and sucking in order to get the water, rather than lifting it high enough to rely purely on gravity. All in all a great product. I have no regrets on my purchase and feel I have easily recouped the cost.-I hand wash it as if you put it in the dish washer it's prone to collecting the dirty water in the base/ part of the lid. I have frozen it several times, been travelling through airport security and to festivals with it and scrunched it up in a bag for pretty much every day since I bought it nearly 5 months ago and there's no real sign of wear. The carabiner is really handy for clipping it onto bag straps, or just as a carry handle. (note my clip was black not pinkish red) I'm considering buying another one, as I find that if it's within eyesight I'm just drawn to it so have been drinking more. I've also filled it with lemon tea and nuun sports tablets, and as long as you rinse it afterward (I put a drop of fairy liquid in with some water, close the lid and shake it), it should last you well!.I've also had many compliments on it, and when I had it at work some of my colleagues thought it was a hip flask ;)
