I purchased a pair of these for a long distance bike tour and mounted them on the forks of my bicycle. Easy to mount, and I supplemented the bolts with zip ties for added insurance although they probably weren't required. The cages easily hold filled 1L Nalgene bottles, though I wish I had acquired larger 2L nalgenes for the trip. The accompanying fasteners worked well, although it takes a bit of practice to figure out what you're going to do with the excess strapping after the load is secure. Appears as though the cage and associated straps are really well made and will keep for many years. Happy with this purchase.I love these cages. I bought one a while ago and just purchased two more to use on my topeak wishbone, and I would buy them again in the future. My only issue is with the strap. Don’t get me wrong, the straps are super high quality and the grippy stuff is awesome, but they don’t include any elastic band to hold down the excess strap. You’re pretty much left to just wrap it around something somehow to keep it from flapping around. I “solved” this by installing a thick rubber band on the strap to neatly tie down the excess, as I show in one of the pictures. It seems like such a cheap solution I don’t know why Blackburn can’t include this. So, in conclusion, It’s a phenomenal quality product, just has that small inconvenience that can be solved with a simple solution. It's a bit much to pay for a water bottle holder. But I needed something that would hold my 40 oz, vacuum-sealed water bottle, and by golly, this was it. I have also carried a 2 quart juice jug with room to spare on the straps. It's like they say, buy once, cry once.Good storage option.Bought 2, use em to haul extra Ebike batteries. This cage is fantastic. I love the straps. I almost thought I would have to get voile straps because everyone else does, but I love these straps. I would much rather use a cinch buckle than to use a voile strap. Highly recommend.I bought two of these Oupost cargo cages to use on my gravel rig and hardtail that I use for bikepacking. While they're not as light as some other cages out there, they're sturdier which for me means more than saving a little weight. The cages are metal. I have other cargo cages that are a composite material but wouldn't last with some of the rougher conditions I've used these in.Yes, there are only two sets of three mounting holes. You can still mount them to a fork though that has bosses. I like the fact that they can be adjusted by choosing any one of the different mounting holes to keep them clear of chainrings, etc..They can carry large Nalgene bottles, Klean Kanteens, cargo bags and even a crowler can of your favorite local beer (see picture). I'm purchasing two more cages to mount permanently to the gravel rig so I don't have to swap back and forth anymore. Blackburn did a good job with these although they could do with a third set of mounting holes. I read a lot of people drill a third hole for fork mounting which could save people the time and effort.Liked the first one so I purchased one more. The included straps are also nice.I used this bottle cage to hold a 1.5 litre water bottle on a recent bike tour across France. It did the job in holding the bottle securely, and it never fell out. The cage or bottle also interfered in no way with my cycling. The only drawback for me is that the ends of the straps have no simple way to be fastened. I ended up threading them through the back of the unit, to avoid them flapping about in the wind and hitting my legs during riding.Great quality cage, I bought 2 of these to replace my bottle holders on my bike, I can now use these brackets for holding my tent/sleeping bag for overnight trips....Good quality straps that are a decent length too...Saves me messing about fitting a Pannier Rack on my mountain bike or having to wear a large rucksack while cycling.. its lightweight, its able to take 9lbs (max), it has a lifetime guarantee. you still swithering? WHY? Buy this product. its excellent.Fits fabulously on the fork of my gravel bike and takes a dry bag with my camping chair...
