My big 84 lb dog really appreciates this design, although she wishes there was an even bigger size bottle. I like being able to just tip the bottle back up to retain the remaining water in the bowl.It doesn’t waste water!This water rover quickly provides water to the bowl and then quickly returns unused water back to bottle. The last three I have ordered have tops/bowls that screw on more easily than previously order rovers.The rover is working fine, but after a few months the bottle cover tab tore off. The quality of the cover tab is cheap and will tear off after a few months.This thing is huge and all the dogs at the dog park love it. Wish the bottle was bigger.At 6 months, the bottle cover tab that seals the hole in the cap tore off. It’s cheap plastic.I called Water Rover. They said that Amazon isn’t authorized to sell their products. And that the Water Rovers sold on Amazon are an Asian made knockoff and have no warranty. Very weird!Did not come in purple even though pkg said it was purple. Came in bright blue. Otherwise product I does the job.excellent. I have reccomended it to several dog walking friends.This is it. This is the only dog hiking bottle you'll ever need.In seriousness, I hike several miles a week with my dog and have tried just about every bottle solution at least once. This one is by far the best for big dogs. The bottle holds a good amount of water (a bit shy of 1 liter) and the large bowl is perfectly sized.Pros: No fussy buttons to break. No tiny filters/mesh that take an age to fill the bottle or put the water back in. Holds a lot. Easy for big snouts to get the water out of the bowl, and holds more than a few mouthfuls. You can pour unconsumed water back in to the bottle (that is a "must" for hiking bottles imo).Cons: Not going to save any space on your belt or in your pack. Bulky and can be heavy because of the size (but worth the trade-off imo). Not particularly leak-proof, so you have to make sure it isn't being toppled a lot.All in all, this will be the only dog hiking bottle I buy from now on.
