Description
Product Description This neoprene wine tote insulates one standard bottle, keeping your favorite beverage at the perfect temperature. Neoprene is tough and protects against, spills, splashes, bumps, and drops, making it perfect for safeguarding the things you love. This light-weight tote stores flat when not in use. Soft-grip handles make it easy to carry and a Velcro closures keep bottles securely inside. Wherever this product goes, the good times follow. Perfect for toting libations to parties, it also makes a fantastic gift for the host. That is, if you can resist keeping it for yourself. Red or white, sparkling or still, Built's original totes are the carrying method of choice whether you're an oenophile or teetotaler. Machine wash cold, hang dry. Amazon.com Stain-resistant, reusable, insulating, and sleek--the Built NY single-bottle tote has just about every design advantage possible over a paper bag. Sized to hold one wine bottle, the carrier keeps chilled beverages cold for up to four hours and provides cushioning to protect against knocks. Thanks to its neoprene materials, the piece is also lightweight and durable, with a built-in handle and a streamlined shape that stores flat or rolls up for stashing in a purse or bag. Great for dinner with friends or picnicking at the beach, the tote resists stains and is conveniently machine-washable. A great alternative to using disposable bags or going without, it comes in several fun colors. Built NY also makes multi-bottle totes, lunch boxes, shopping bags, and baby gear for padding other portables. --Emily Bedard

When you want to bring a bottle of wine to a friend's house for dinner, or to a picnic or tailgate, or to a licenseless BYOB restaurant, you don't really care how it looks -- but you sure do want to keep the bottle from breaking en route! This is the perfect solution. Slip the bottle into this marvelous sleeve, and it's now quite sturdy for transport, whether in car trunk, backpack, tote bag, cooler, or bicycle pannier. When you arrive and remove the bottle to table or buffet, simply roll up the sleeve and stuff it into your pocket to bring back home with you. Or... buy several in pretty colors, so you have enough to give your hosts both the wine and the sleeve as a hostess present! Because the material is stretchy and compressible, it's very easy to store virtually anywhere, and it can easily be hung over a door handle with a bottle of wine inside. It also does help keep already chilled white wine colder than it would be outside the sleeve. Ours has seen a lot of use over several years, and it's been a great little trouper. We're thrilled with it. Strongly recommended!P.S. These come in different sizes -- for example, this one for large bottles such as wine or litre bottles of water/soda, or others for smaller items such as six-pack-sized bottles or cans. If you regularly carry 2 wine bottles or litres of soda, get the large double sleeved model to carry both bottles securely with a single handle. I also love the smaller-sized six-pack unit to carry cold bottles of Starbucks Frappucino, V-8 or Diet Coke on a road trip!! :)I think this is well made, feels great, and insulates and protects the wine bottles that I often take out to restaurants and friends for dinner. My only complaint is it is a bit snug. I think that is good on one hand, the bottle is not going anywhere - but I find it is a bit of a job to get a larger bottle out of the tote. One time I put a bottle of Champagne in and the waiter had to take and remove in the kitchen as he did not want to struggle as I had at the table.I bought 4 BUILT bottle holders at one time! I received a birthday gift card for Amazon! I have been using these "wine" holders for years BUT not as a wine bottle holder but as a Water Bottle holder! I drink a lot of water and have for years. And I live in the high desert in Southern California now and I drink even more water. This holder easily holds a 24 oz. bottle and I freeze some water and then add water to the top. The BUILT neoprene is easy to hold and it keeps the water cold. You can put anything in the bottle! I bought 4 so I could have different colors depending on what I wear! smile... You want a bottle holder...this is the one! This is a well-made wine bottle holder for the price. I put a cold bottle of wine in it and toted it to a friend's. About two hours later (at room temperature out of sunlight), it was still cold. It is attractive enough, nothing fancy. Definitely function over style. It is stitched well so I think it will hold up quite nicely. The handles are comfortable as the material is almost spongy. I would have given it five stars if there were some sort of snap closure. I had it sideways in by trunk and the bottom got pinched a little because I had too much stuff in the trunk and the bottle started falling out. The odds of that are probably quite unlikely but could happen...happened to me.UPDATE: It has been a year and no broken bottles. It still looks new too. Just wish they had put a snap closure and I'd give it 10 stars if I could.Bought because they don't make the original 24-30 oz. water bottle holders anymore. It's a little big for them but works. I actually copied the cutout pattern from my old one and made cuts on the bottom so it would stand up by itself with the smaller than a wine bottle water bottles. It works great ?? and I'll probably buy more in different patterns. Fast delivery too.Lately there have been a ton of new good restaurants that allow you to Bring Your Own wine but I always feel odd walking down the street with a bottle of wine. This is a great durable solution that is also very functional. A 750ml fits in snugly so I am not sure how well a 1 liter would do but I will update my review once I pick up a larger bottle. In the product description it states that it keeps wine cold for 4 hours. I don't normally need to keep wine on hold for four hours but I set up a little countertop test. I left a 750ml bottle in the fridge for a couple of days, pulled it out and put it in the tote with the probe from my digital kitchen thermometer. It was a warm day but the inside temp stayed between 80 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. After 1 hour the bottle was at 53 degrees, 2 hours 60, 2.5 hours 64, 3 hours it went up to 67 and after 4 hours it was a even 70 degrees. While 70 is good for a red it is a bit warm for a white. Then again, it was 80 degrees in my kitchen so this tote did a great job in my book.I bought two Built BYO neoprene bags like this years and years ago, i lost one and the other is getting pretty scruffy. I couldn't find them anywhere, not even on Amazon...then suddenly they show up again, this bag saying it will hold one wine bottle is the exact bag I've used for years, my 32 ounce Rubbermaid drink bottle fits in perfectly. Loaded with ice and water it will stay cold for most of the work day and cool right through to the end - so 9 hours. One Negative - it smells. Since I leave it on my drink bottle and fold it down to drink - the smell is more noticeable than if you're just using it for a chilled wine bottle. I expect it to go away, or I'll wash it, but I thought I should mention it.Update: the smell did indeed go away. Now I use my other one for the coffee thermos. A thermos in an insulated bag is easy to carry and stays hot longer. :) I'm thinking about getting the polka dot one, even though I don't need it!I have several of this brand... some for bringing wine to parties, but primarily it’s a great way to carry my smart water bottles to the barn while working my horse! It keeps my water cool & I can hang it up on any tack hooks for easy access while riding. Very durable & pretty!Really efficient at keeping a bottle cool. I often put an ice pack down the side of the bottle and it keeps a cold drink cool all day. I bought two a few years ago and use them every day ion the warm weather. These carriers are really great quality and make carrying a bottle so much easier.Great buy to really nice to gift a bottle of wine in.bought this to protect my gopro 5 gimble, works a treatUSE IT TO KEEP JUICE COOL IN WORK
