I'm confused on Pendleton sizing--I've ordered XL and they are too big and sleeves too long and this I ordered in large and was too tight thru hips.I was reading over 60's need to add a pop of color to their wardrobe. This will be the perfect accessory to add to my winter wardrobe in response to that suggestion. And Pendleton wool has always been a classic.I think one could dress this coat up or down. Add a nice scarf around your neck on the inside of the collar, and you will look very stylish. And who does not have a scarf with red in it?!Recommend purchasing.She loves it,looks great in it, and gets alot of compliments. What more could a women enjoy from it? I had nice features: not scratchy, zipper pocket in sleeve (great for room keycard and/or metro pass), zipper front with snaps (not velcro), cute lining and longer in back. When first put on coat loved it then went to zip. UGH! The shoulders were way too narrow and felt like they would rip. I only had on a long sleeved shirt. I am not busty nor have broad shoulders. The coat fit true to size everywhere else but the shoulders.I purchased this coat with the full intention of receiving the one shown in the picture.Instead I received something that resembles a thin shirt jacket- not the Darby as shown!Tried to reorder but my size and color are sold out. Not the first time Amazon shows you one item and sends whatever they feel like at the moment!
